Wine Tasting

Enjoy a private wine tasting in the comfort of your cabin. You will taste a varied selection of the County’s finest wines while learning about the stories behind the wines and the history of the County. You will gain a broad understanding of the region and the featured wineries. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions about all things wine-related, from the County and beyond.

This experience is perfect if you have a limited time in the County and wish to cover a broad selection of wine from the area. It's also a great way to learn about the wineries before taking a tour to visit them in person.

Cheese Tasting

In partnership with: Jackie Armet, Professional Fromager, cheese coordinator of The Great Canadian Cheese Festival and The Canadian Cheese Awards/ Le Concours des fromages fins canadiens

Tutored Tastings are done in your vacation accommodation. Jackie will bring the event to you, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the evening. Guests will be provided a suggested list of wines, beers and ciders, available for purchase directly through Wander, that will pair beautifully with the cheese and other treats, as well as suggesting some non-alcoholic beverages you might want to add to the evening. The tasting takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and will serve as a light meal for you.

A Cheese Experience includes seven generously portioned cheeses and accompanying goodies that perfectly complement the cheese. Glassware, plates, knives, spoons, bowls and napkins are all provided. Pricing: $250.00 for 2 guests, $350.00 for a group of 4. Each additional guest is $65.00/person.

Relaxation Massage - 60 Minute Treatment :

Ease into a state of deep rest and relaxation.
Our Relaxation Massage aims to restore balance in the body and mind.
Expect gliding strokes of varying pressure to stimulate circulation, soothe tight muscles and reduce stress.
After the treatment, you can expect to feel calm and rejuvenated.

Reiki - 60 Minute Treatment:

Explore a deeper connection to self. Reiki is an ancient Japanese method of energetic healing that works to balance body and mind.
During a treatment, the reiki practitioner uses light touch to channel energy into the body - opening the heart space, clearing energetic and emotional blockages and reducing stress levels to restore physical and emotional wellbeing.
After a reiki treatment, you can expect to feel relaxed, refreshed and empowered.

Self-guided tour of Hillier & Wellington with light refreshments (you will receive a small travel-friendly package with directions and details of each stop, approximately 9-10)
Tour and samples of local goods
Tasting fees at two local establishments (including a winery and either a ciderhouse or brewery)
Picnic lunch made with 100% locally-sourced, small-batch products, giving you the chance to try the best of the County Bounty. Ingredients change seasonally but your picnic will include fresh-made sandwiches, salad, plus our favourite grazing items; cheese, charcuterie, dips, accouterments, fresh fruit & veg and something sweet. Vegetarian and vegan options are available at no additional fee. Please let us know of any other dietary requirements.

In-Cabin Massage Treatments

Treat yourself to a little pampering from the comfort of your cabin! In-cabin massage treatments in partnership with local RMTs. *Subject to practitioner availability.

30 minute massage ($120 + HST)
45 minute massage ($140 + HST)
60 minute massage ($190 + HST)
75 minute massage ($200 + HST)
90 minute massage ($220 + HST)

If cancelled within 24 hours of the treatment, 50% of fees will be charged.
Couples treatments are not available at this time. Services will be back-to-back if booking for more than one person.
We require 72 hour notice for massages.
Insurance receipt available upon request
If a last-minute treatment was booked within the 72 hour notice, guest will be charged for the full fees if cancelled.
